Tafl Update!

Yesterday we got together with the soon-to-be tafl board and started making some plans. We decided to go with a 13x13 gaming surface as that size seemed to be commonly referenced. To keep things simple we opted to make 1 inch squares which would allow us a 2.5 inch boarder around the entire board so we could do some snazzy decorations. After some straight-edging and quit calculations, we managed to sketch the design on to the top of the board and made a pattern to simply the drilling of the holes for the game pieces. Nick has offered to get the nails we will be using as pegs for the game pieces and once we know the size of the nails, the board is all ready to be drilled!
